Super Digital
Super Digital was a digital agency, focusing on digital marketing and metrics.

Being one of the agencies on the IPG Mediabrands Netherlands group, the branding was aimed at attracting young talent in the marketing and media sectors.

A brand language and a multitude of different below-the-line assets were created, along with a memorable and strong visual language, to purposefuly set it apart from competitors within the sector, and make it more appealing to attract younger talent to the Mediabrands group.

Deciding the brand language
Competitive analysis:
A market research took place to understand the panorama of the competitor marketing agencies in The Netherlands. It was found that most agencies within large groups like IPG Mediabrands used a quite dated brand language, and did not connect well with the younger intern talent pool.

The brainstorm:
A creative session was then conducted to discover the client's idea, and some key insights and ideas were generated.

Concepts like "super hero of the digital landscape" and "super digital potion to supercharge your brand" were mentioned, which would become key to the whole brand language.
The moodboards
Inspired by the "super digital potion" and "super hero" concept, I went forward to compile a moodboard which had these concepts surrounding a liquid, or a potion.

Doodling the logos
I then started to sketch some logo proposals, based on the insights gathered in the brand discovery phase.
Colour scheme
A colour scheme was also selected to match some of the concepts:

- Modern
- Warm
- Edgy
- Bold
Photographic style
Another moodboard was created for the photographic style.
Logo design
The caligraphic style of one of the proposals was selected after a brainstorming session and a vote. The sketch was then vectorized.
A brand in motion
In order to present the new branding to stakeholders, a few motion graphics experiments were created. These were then played in screens throughout the headquarters offices in Amsterdam NL.
